During the D23 Expo, Disney Imagineers discussed some early concepts and idea starters for updates to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. None of these are necessarily planned projects, but rather represent possible ideas for future park projects.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney Imagineers are considering options for the redevelopment of Dinoland USA which might include incorporating Moana or Zootopia.
Here is one early concept:
Magic Kingdom
Imagineers are exploring several ideas for an expansion generally referred to as Beyond Thunder Mountain.
One idea could include bringing in the locations and characters from the movie Encanto.
A second idea could include introducing an area or land focused on villains:
