This week marks the start of booking for Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows so we thought we’d bring you a peek inside the guest rooms.
Projected to open December 17, 2024, the 10-story tower will feature many room types featuring original artwork inspired by the Polynesian Islands. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film, “Moana” is the inspiration for beautiful custom pieces found in each guest room.
And like all Disney Vacation properties, each accommodation will boast just-like-home amenities to make your stay extra comfortable.
Let’s look at some of the options for your tropical retreat.

The Perfect Stay for Two
A perfect retreat for two, the bright and airy duo studios draw inspiration from the stars and the sky that the wayfinders used for celestial navigation.

Sensational Studios for Families of Four
The deluxe studios will sleep up to four and celebrate the lush flora and fauna of the islands. These deluxe studios will feature a dishwasher! This is a first-of-its-kind amenity for a Disney Vacation Club property. A cozy seating area can be found across from the kitchenette in the Island Tower layout.
One- & Two-Bedroom Villas for the Entire Family
For larger groups who enjoy spreading out in a one- or two-bedroom villa and sleeping up to five and nine, respectfully, these stunning villas are for you! Through unique artwork, each villa will showcase a voyager’s journey on land and under the sea. These spaces will include a kitchen with full-size appliances, a dining area, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor patio area.

Introducing NEW Two-Bedroom Penthouse Villas
For those who desire even more luxury and sweeping views, Disney Vacation Club’s Island Tower introduces two-bedroom penthouse villas. A spacious living room and spectacular views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom Park will welcome you after a long day in the parks.
Sustainable Design Details at the Island Tower
In line with Disney’s 2030 environmental goals, several features within the guest rooms contribute to the Island Tower’s sustainable design. For example, in addition to the convenience that comes with the first-ever dishwashers in the tower’s studios, they also contribute to the goal of minimizing waste by reducing the need for plastic utensils and single-use dishware. You might also be surprised to know the beautiful, plush rugs and carpets inside guest rooms are made from mostly recycled plastic bottles woven into fine yarn that feels like silk.
