There is still plenty of construction happening as the multi-year and multi-million dollar project to transform Disney Springs into Disney Springs continues.
Recently, I reported on the opening of the first parking garage as well as a few new stores.
Now I’m happy to share news about another project that has finished up and will make the experience of visiting Disney Springs more pleasant: the pedestrian bridge in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs is open.
If you have ever been to Disney Springs anytime there were crowds, you probably encountered a traffic jam of people starting near the Lego store and reaching past the World of Disney Store and Ghirardelli Soda Fountain. These areas are popular spots with more people than concrete to hold them.
A new bridge is in place that connects the Lego Store and the Rainforest Cafe.
