This is the word game all Disney fans were waiting for! Now you can combine your love of Wordle and Disney with Mickeyrdle.
While there have been other fun clones of the popular game including the Taylor Swift-themed Taylordle, this new Mickeyrdle is the only one for Disney fans.
Each five-letter answer is a word or character name from the World of Disney – from the movies to the theme parks. Classic Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Muppets, and more! Words range from the obvious like “MOUSE” to the deeper cuts that only true Disney Parks fans will discover like “ROHDE” (last name of the legendary Disney Imagineer, Joe Rohde).
Gavin Doyle and the team behind Mickey Visit decided to create the game when they saw the massive excitement around the Wordle game! With an eye towards serving their passionate Disney audience, Doyle dove in to collect five-letter words from across the Disney space and build the game.
On the game page, Gavin Doyle quotes Walt Disney stating that the Disney Wordle game clone was created when they decided they needed a “kind of amusement enterprise where parents and children could have fun together.” Walt Disney used the quote to describe Disneyland, and the creator of “Mickeyrdle” fittingly and somewhat humorously used it to describe the creation of their Disney-themed Wordle game.
