Walt Disney World will launch the new Disney Genie, Genie+, and Lightning Lane services on October 19, 2021. Disney will offer these new planning and paid services via the My Disney Experience app.
Disney Genie
Price: Included with park admission
The Disney Genie service and allows guests to create a personalized itinerary. The app maps out your day in the most efficient way possible, evaluating thousands of possible itinerary options and adjusting them throughout the day.
Disney Genie+
Price: $15 per person per day
Similar to the now-retired MaxPass at Disneyland, Disney Genie+ allows guests to receive an arrival window for an attraction and use the Lightning Lane entrances for 40+ attractions and entertainment options. Once you have used one Lightning Lane access, you can get another. There is no limit on the number of Genie+ arrivals you can book in a day.

Lightning Lane
Price: Varies, but averages from $7 – $15 per person per attraction
For the first time, Disney has announced Lightning Lane pricing: $7 – $15 per person per attraction, but the price will vary based on demand. You can use Lightning Lane with or without Genie+. You can book and pay for up to two Lightning Lane reservations per day, but you can only book one at a time.
Guest of Disney Resort Hotels (plus other select hotels, including the Walt Disney World Swan, Walt Disney World Dolphin, and Shades of Green) can purchase their first Lightning Lane pass at 7 AM on the day of their visit. Other guests can make their purchases when the park opens.
