Disney World lockers are now digital, and that means that you no longer have to carry around a key after renting a locker.
The digital lockers were first introduced in Magic Kingdom a few weeks ago, but they’re now available at every Disney World theme park.
The new digital lockers also mean a new rental process. Each locker location has a self-service kiosk where cash and credit customers can initiate their rental. If you’re using a MagicBand or Gift Card, you’ll have to visit the nearest merchandise store to initiate your rental with a Cast Member.
Once you’ve rented the locker, you’ll get a code which will be used at the locker to open it, lock it with all your stuff inside, and access it throughout the day.

There are three sizes of lockers:
- Standard Lockers are 12.5″ x 10″ x 17″ and cost $7 per day
- Large Lockers are 15.5″ x 13″ x 17″ and cost $10 per day
- Jumbo Lockers are 17″ x 22″ x 26″ and cost $15 per day
The Jumbo lockers are only available at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. All lockers are located at the entrances of the parks and at the International Gateway in World Showcase.
With lockers going digital and no key being required, Disney has dropped the deposit fee because there’s nothing that guests have to return now.
