After some legal events unfolded, Disney World has announced that face coverings are now optional in all locations: indoors, outdoors, and on transportation.
Disney World made masks required only on transportation back on February 17, and masks have been optional at indoor and outdoor locations for some time.
This change comes after U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle in Tampa voided the public transportation federal mask mandate by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Other organizations have changed their masking requirements today as well. Uber and Lyft are both dropping face mask rules for drivers and riders, and airlines including United, American, and Delta are not requiring masks on domestic flights.
Glad that Disney, and other companies, have dropped their transportation mask requirements?
