Disney World Makes Facemasks Optional In Most Locations Starting June 15

Many people have been wondering when it would happen, and now we know:  Guests who are fully vaccinated will not be required to wear facemasks in most areas around Disney World starting on June 15, 2021.

Disney will still require facemasks in some locations, including transportation (buses, monorails, and the Skyliner).  Guests will not have to wear masks on boats and ferries.

As is the case with many businesses, Disney will not ask for or require proof of vaccination, but they expect Guests who are not fully vaccinated to wear masks.

The new policy takes place on June 15, and Guests must wear masks at indoor locations until then.

Glad that Disney World won’t require masks, in most cases, starting June 15?
