Hurricane Ian is expected to impact Central Florida and Walt Disney World starting late on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Disney will not charge dining cancellation fees at any on-site restaurants until further notice, although they may reinstate fees at any time.
Disney World is also adjusting change and cancellation fees for resort hotel stays. It will waive change and cancellation fees imposed for check-in dates of September 26 – October 3, 2022.
Guests can also modify or cancel travel dates for most room-only vacation and vacation packages.
Guest who booked packages that include air transportation or third-party services, or those with travel protection, cannot modify or cancel those plans. They need to call Disney directly.
