As part of its annual Earth Day (now Earth Month) celebration, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will offer limited-time experiences including characters, learning opportunities, special food offerings, merchandise, and more!
Let’s take a look:
Drawing Experience
The Animation Experience at Conservation Station will teach guests of all ages how to draw animal characters, including Simba, Scar, Dumba, Terk, and Squirt.

Characters
Animal Kingdom’s version of character cavalcades – Discover River Character Cruises – will add some special characters.
Food
Special limited-time cupcakes will include a Honey Bee Cupcake at Creature Comfort’s, a strawberry-flavored Flamingo Cupcake at Flame Tree Barbecue, and a Sea Turtle Graham Cracker Cupcake at Restaurantosaurus Lounge.

Challenge
Earn a special limited-time Earth Day Nature Badge as part of a self-guided challenge with the Wilderness Explorer experience.
Merchandise
Look for a limited-edition Te Fiti/Moana trading pin.
Photos
Disney PhotoPass will offer special Earth Day backgrounds and Magic Shots, including an all-new photo opportunity. You will be able to download Earth Day screen savers and Zoom backgrounds in the My Disney Experience PhotoPass gallery.
Art
Artists will turn a 40-ton pile of sand into a beautiful sculpture starting on April 2 and going through April 30. The piece of art will celebrate National Geographic’s “Secrets of the Whales,” an original series streaming on Disney+ on Earth Day.
Looking forward to Disney’s Earth Month celebrations?
