Set to make a splash in fall 2024 is “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure,” a new theatrical production inspired by the beloved Walt Disney Animation Studios classic.
The reimagined show promises to transport audiences into Ariel’s world with fresh perspectives and captivating elements. The Animation Courtyard theater, currently undergoing a revitalization, will host this enchanting performance, boasting stunning set pieces, cutting-edge effects, and a bold new design that reflects Ariel’s unique outlook on the world around her.
Prepare to be swept away by musical numbers inspired by the iconic film, including favorites like “Part of Your World” and “Poor Unfortunate Souls.” As an added treat, a new scene, “Kiss the Girl,” has been introduced, capturing the essence of this exciting production.
The previous show in the Animation Courtyard, called “Voyage of the Little Mermaid,” closed due to the pandemic in 2020, but has not reopened like nearly all other experiences have. There were rumors that the interior of the building holding the show may have been damaged.
