Dining is an important part of a European vacation. The flavors, the views, the service- it’s really unmatched. Now you can get all of that when you visit Disney World’s newest resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort.

Disney’s Riviera Resort features four restaurants and additional dining options throughout the resort. Let’s take a look at your dining options thanks to the nice folks at Disney’s Media Relations!

Le Petit Cafe

This casual dining restaurant is considered a lounge and offers a variety of beverages, snacks, and small plates.

In the morning, you can order coffee, tea, and specialty beverages plus pastries. In the evening, you’ll find a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and a cheese plate, charcuterie, and more.

Primo Piatto

Primo Piatto is translated as “first dish”.

Primo Piatto is located on the first floor of the Resort next to Bar Riva and near the feature pool.

Primo Piatto serves up soups, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, entrees, desserts, kid’s meals, beer and wine, and cocktails and offers a self-service beverage station for your refillable mugs!

Bar Riva

Bar Riva is an open-air bar located adjacent to Primo Piatto and near the feature pool. The views are excellent, and the airiness of this restaurant feels very much like being in the European Riviera!

Bar Riva offers an extensive menu of cocktails including sangrias and frozen beverages, wine, beer, and hard cider and water plus salads, hot and cold sandwiches, “bar favorites”, and desserts. You can also get kids’ meals and fun non-alcoholic beverages like Mediterranean Mint Lemonade, Hibiscus Coconut Refresher, and Frosty Blood Orange Sangria.

I had breakfast at Bar Riva complements of Disney Media Relations during the grand opening, and I got to try some of the pastries and other dishes available throughout the resort. It was all delicious, but the salmon (right” was definitely a highlight as was the chocolate croissant (middle)!

Topolino’s Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera

I saved the best for last! Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera is named after everyone’s favorite mouse. Topolino is Italian for Mickey Mouse!

This restaurant is quite large. There are a variety of seating options all with great views out of the large windows.

It’s not just the inside of the restaurant that is stunning. There is also an outdoor terrace that offers breathtaking views of three of Disney World’s four theme parks and the grounds of the resort. Let’s take a look!

Topolino’s Terrace is open for a character breakfast every morning from 7:30 AM to 11 AM where you can meet, greet, and dine with Painter Mickey, Poet Minnie, Dancer Daisy, and Sculptor Donald in their exclusive Riviera Resort outfits. Dinner is served from 5 PM to 9:30 PM. You’ll definitely want to plan to watch the Hollywood Studios and Epcot Fireworks from Topolino’s!
