Bringing home the prize!
Two Disney rides were recently honored with wins at the 2022 Golden Ticket Awards. The Golden Ticket Awards, presented by Amusement Today has for the past twenty years, recognized top experiences across the theme park industry. EPCOT’s Guardian of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind was awarded Best New Attraction Installation, while Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance won Best Dark Ride award for the second year in a row.
Cast Members from both attractions stepped forward to accept the awards on behalf of the company.
At EPCOT, as part of the park’s historic transformation, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind winning the Best New Attraction Installation was a thrill for Kartika Rodriguez, Vice President of EPCOT.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind opened in the spring of 2022 and was seen as a pivotal moment in the transformation of EPCOT. It also coincided with the 50th Anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World.
