Disney’s traditional meet and greets with characters, where you could get a picture, and hug, and an autograph, stopped with the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Disney started up socially-distanced meet and greets – a good chance to see characters, but not up close.
Today, regular character meet and greets are returning to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, the Disney Cruise Line, and Aulani in Hawaii.
You can once again get that picture, hug, and autograph.
Disney guests are also reporting that interactions at character meals are no longer socially distanced.
