During a panel presentation at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, Scott Trowbridge, Portfolio Creative Executive for Walt Disney Imagineering, suggested that Disney would add new destinations, or show scenes, to Star Tours.

The company did not release any details, including timing, scenes, or parks where the changes would be installed.
Disney last added new scenes to the attraction in 2019 with the release of the movie Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker.
Disney has Star Tours attractions in five global parks, including Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris.
