Joe Rohde, retired Disney Imagineer, is returning to Walt Disney Imagineering to teach master class work sessions. The announcement came via the Walt Disney Imagineering Instagram account.
The full announcement reads as follows:
“Beginning this week, Imagineers have an opportunity to participate in a series of master class work sessions led by Joe Rohde. Before the announcement, Rohde had teased his return with a video posted to Instagram of him walking toward the Walt Disney Imagineering building with the caption, “Do a bit of work at the old farm.”
After 40 years in the industry, Rohde retired from Imagineering in 2021. Earlier this month Disney announced that Rhode would be honored as a Disney Legend at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2024. Following the news that he would be honored, Rohde took to Instagram to thank his fellow Imagineers and park guests. Rohde has had a hand in projects such as Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Pandora: The World of Avatar, Aulani, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission Breakout, just to name a few. His impact can be felt throughout the Disney Parks.
Excited that Joe Rohde is returning to Walt Disney Imagineering to teach Master Class sessions?
