At the 2023 Destination D23 event, Chairperson of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Josh D’Amaro announced that the Magic Kingdom will add a new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed lounge.
This first-of-its-kind experience will extend the story of Pirates of the Caribbean. Imagineers are in the design process now and more details are coming in the future.
Disney did not explain the details of the lounge – whether it was a bar, an interactive theater experience, or something else. They did not suggest a timeline for this addition.
