Walt Disney World announced that the highly-anticipated launch of MagicBand+ is coming up on July 27!
The ultramodern MagicBand+ can do everything a MagicBand can do and more! As with the previous MagicBand, you’ll be able to enter the theme parks with a tap, access your Disney PhotoPass memories, and unlock your Disney Resort hotel room.
But the newest member of the MagicBand family will actually be an interactive experience in itself! The MagicBand+ features color-changing lights, haptic vibrations, and gesture recognition. MagicBand+ can pair to your smartphone using the My Disney Experience app.
Before you begin to explore these exciting new experiences, you’ll want to pick out the perfect MagicBand+ from an incredible lineup of more than 25 designs!

As part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration, you will be able to use MagicBand+ to bring the Disney Fab 50 sculptures in all four parks to life with just a wave of the hand.
On Batuu, MagicBand+ will be your guide to the Batuu Bounty Hunters experience, where vibrations and lights from your MagicBand+ will help you to choose the right path.
MagicBand+ will delight and entertain guests during “Disney Enchantment” at Magic Kingdom and “Harmonious” at EPCOT by lighting up and vibrating in sync with fireworks, visual effects, and music. In addition, MagicBand+ will interact with all four theme park icons as they become Beacons of Magic!
If you plan to purchase MagicBand+ please note that Disney Resort hotel guests may purchase MagicBand+ online at special prices before they arrive. Annual Passholder discounts will also be available.
