Disney Confirms New Date For Beak and Barrel Pirates of the Caribbean Tavern Reservations

Guests who tried to make reservations last week for The Beak and Barrel were met with technical issues and the reservation system was down. As a result, Disney has announced that a new date is now in place.

Disney plans to resume reservations for The Beak and Barrel on Wednesday, August 20, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Reservations were initially scheduled to start on August 14.  When attempting to make a reservation, guests received errors on the Walt Disney World website and the My Disney Experience app. Even after Disney restored the system, The Beak and Barrel remained unbookable. Later in the day, Disney said they would delay reservations.

The Beak and Barrel officially opens on August 29. It will occupy the space that was formerly The Pirates League. The bar will introduce two original characters: Rummy, inspired by the attraction’s original Barker Bird, and Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn, the bar’s proprietor. The Mess is the primary room in the lounge.  The Captain’s Quarters is a smaller space that features miniature ships in bottles that battle.

Just like Oga’s Cantina at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney will limit visits to the Beak and Barrel at 45-minutes. You can see the full Beak and Barrel menu here.

Glad that Disney has amended the reservation date for The Beak and Barrel due to technical issues with the system?
