Summer House on the Lake has recently opened its doors at Disney Springs West Side in Walt Disney World, introducing a perpetual summer vibe to the heart of Florida. Lettuce Entertain You’s latest culinary venture features coastal-chic aesthetics, a California-inspired menu, and a groundbreaking “Cookie Bar” that collectively transports the essence of summer into The Most Magical Place On Earth.

With its roots in Chicago, IL, North Bethesda, MD, and Las Vegas, NV, Summer House extends its warm embrace to Disney Springs, marking its fourth location.

The culinary team, led by Chef Ben Goodnick, expresses excitement about incorporating locally sourced ingredients and Florida’s bold flavors into the menu. While rooted in the simplicity of Southern California, the Summer House on the Lake menu pays homage to the vibrant culinary scene of Orlando, featuring seasonal specials like Wagyu Beef, main course salads, and Caribbean-inspired flavors. The focus is on simple, sustainable, and local ingredients, showcased in dishes ranging from Caramelized Brussels Sprouts to Crispy Baja Fish Tacos.
From the Costa Mesa Salad to the Herbed Chicken Breast Paillard, Summer House offers a diverse range of menu items, including an extensive kid’s menu with gluten-free options. The Rosé Cart, showcasing the restaurant’s own Summer House Rosé, complements the craft cocktails, zero-proof drinks, and a variety of draft and bottled beers.

A highlight of the experience is the debut of “The Cookie Bar,” presenting 15 varieties of oversized cookies and bars, such as Sea Salt Chocolate Chip and Vegan Snickerdoodle. The bar also boasts a selection of house-made cakes and beverages, including the popular Espresso Martini.

Crafted in collaboration with the renowned Rockwell Group, Summer House seamlessly combines indoor and outdoor dining with a bright, natural light-filled dining room. The venue, with its three bars and a lush tree reaching up to a skylight, offers sweeping views and a refreshing breeze from Lake Buena Vista. The restaurant’s commitment to creating memorable dining experiences is reflected in its trademark bright blue “YES” sign.
