The EPCOT Festival of the Arts is about art and singing, but it is also about culinary arts – giving Disney chefs an opportunity to explore the medium of food to create new dishes that are both delicious and beautiful.
This year’s festival includes some dishes that look as good as they taste. Thanks to the nice folks at Disney Media Relations, I had a chance to check out some of the festival’s highlights.
Let’s take a look:
The Passion Fruit Mousse features dragon fruit jam and was inspired by the colors and flavors of the new Disney film Encanto.
Scallops are always a favorite, and this EPCOT version features vanilla-butternut squash puree, brown butter cauliflower puree, and lemon foam. Wow!
Thirsty? Check out this beer flight with a white ale, amber ale, and brown ale.
Andy Warhol fans will recognize the style of this hazy IPA.
Deconstructed dishes are all the rage, and this deconstructed French onion soup features plenty of amazing ingredients and, of course, onions!
Deconstructed apple pie features gelato on the bottom.
Wild boar cassoulet with duck confit, ham hock, and sausage.
You usually have to go to a high-end restaurant to see bone marrow, but this year you will find it at the Festival!
