Disney World continues the celebration of its 50th Anniversary with special food offerings in the Magic Kingdom. The culinary team took inspiration from opening day attractions such as it’s a small world, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and the Haunted Mansion.
Disney created more than 120 food items for the Magic Kingdom alone, some of which will rotate in and out of restaurants, while others will be around for the full celebration.
Let’s take a look at some of the delicious and beautiful treats!
Veranda Fried Rice. Spicy chili-garlic shrimp served over pork fried rice with eggs and peas. Available at Jungle Navigation Company Ltd., Skipper Canteen
50th Celebration Churro. Churro rolled in cinnamon and strawberry sugar drizzled with marshmallow cream and shimmer sprinkles and served with chocolate-hazelnut dipping sauce. Available at Frontierland Churro Wagon
I Cannot Tell A lie Shake. Vanilla and cherry shake garnished with a brown sugar-graham cracker rim. Available at Liberty Tree Tavern.
The Sun Bonnet Trio salad. Mixed green salad with strawberries, tomato, red onion, and edible flowers. Available at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café.
Chilling Chamber Pops. Lady on the Gravestone – citrus cake crumbs, raspberry buttercream, and blue crisp pearls. Available at Sleepy Hollow
Happy Haunts Milkshake. Blackberry milkshake topped with a purple chocolate-glazed donut covered with black sprinkles. Available at Columbia Harbour House
Monte Cristo Sandwich. Bacon, roasted turkey, and provolone dipped in funnel cake batter and deep-fried, sprinkled with EARidescentsugar with housemaid strawberry jam. Available at The Plaza Restaurant
50th Celebration Hot Dog. All beef hotdog topped with strawberry-bacon jam, crisp funnel cake pieces, and powdered sugar. Available at Casey’s Corner
When Will My Life Begin Chicken and Pasta. Tangled egg yolk pasta, Forest moss and flowers, pine nut pesto, and braised chicken served in a frying pan. Available at Cinderella’s Royal Table
The Sword In The Sweet Dessert. Cookies ‘n cream cheesecake mousse with chocolate cookie crumble topped with crispy pearls in a cookie sword. Available at Cinderella‘s Royal Table
Tres Leche Cake. Tres Leche coconut cake with toasted coconut. Available at Pinocchio Village Haus
The Wild Toad Brat Burger. Served on a bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and American cheese. Available at Friar’s Nook
