New Spanish Restaurant Jaleo Open Now in Disney Springs

Jose Andres, named to the 100 most influential people list, is opening a new table-service restaurant and quick-service location in Disney Springs.

Let’s take a look at what we can expect from this location!

Jaleo

Jaleo is the new table-service restaurant where guests will enjoy authentic, creative Spanish cuisine and signature dishes plus Sangrias and a fine selection of Spanish wines. The menu features an extensive selection of tapas. Jaleo will opens for dinner on March 17th and they will begin serving lunch later this month.

The building housing Jaleo is the result of Spanish designer Juli Capella’s handiwork. The design is playful, whimsical, and functional. One of the coolest features is the petals that open and create pergolas outside providing the perfect light and shade at the same time. Jaleo, which means revelry, is perfectly represented in the colorful design!

Disney Springs will be the flagship location for the chain and the largest of the group, which operates four other locations across the country. The first one opened in Washington DC in 1993, and this one will be the first in the state of Florida. The restaurant will employ 280 people through ThinkFoodGroup.

Pepe by Jose Andres

Pepe by Jose Andres is located on the front corner of Jaleo. This is the first permanent location for this food-truck-turned-quick-service-restaurant. Pepe has been a fixture in DC for six years, and now guests in Disney World can enjoy their sandwiches, hot and cold bocatas, gazpacho, and salads. You can also get Spanish Sangrias that even have sangria ice cubes so when they melt they don’t dilute your drink!
