Hey, Parents! You’ve worked hard all year, and now you’ve even planned an awesome family vacation! What could be better than spending a whole week together 24 hours a day?
Some families may think that sounds awesome, but others know that some family members like their alone time, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that!
Perhaps you and your significant other would like a date night. Disney understands, so they’ve created childcare at some of their Disney resort hotels including Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and now Disney’s Contemporary Resort Hotel!
The Pixar Play Zone
This new, immersive experience is being called a pilot program because it offers some very special activities not available at the other Children’s Activity Center locations.
The new program opens its doors every night at 5pm at which time parents can drop off their kids for a variety of activities and themed rooms. The Living Room offers Space Ranger Training, Woody and Jessie meet guests in Wooy’s Roundup, there are a variety of toys to play with in Bonnie’s Play Room, and they can build and race their own soapbox race cars and compete for the Piston Cup. The night tops off with a Sweet Dance Party with Mr. and Mrs. Incredible.
Cast Members, who are specially trained and hold certifications and clearances, entertain the kids all night while you’re out having a little adult time. Don’t worry! They also serve your kids dinner and dessert, so you don’t have anything to worry about. Options include flatbread pizza, salad, vegetable dippers, cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies, fruit cups, milk, chocolate milk, juice, and water. If your kids have any food allergies, just let them know that too, and they’ll make a special meal for them.

Kids must be between the ages of four and twelve, and they must be toilet trained.
