If your ‘vacation to Disney World’ is finally happening, there must be several questions clouding your mind, especially if you want this to go perfectly. There is no mystery as to how Disney provides a wide range of activities that you can enjoy with your family and friends, which is why deciding your itinerary might get a little overwhelming. No worries! Here are a few things that can help you in planning the best Disney vacation, one that you and your family will cherish for the rest of your lives.
Choose a Good Day
This might not be your strategy for your normal vacation visits to other places; but trust me, it is definitely something you should preplan before your visit to Disney World. Every park in Disney World has a visitor limit and is almost fully crowded in the initial months of the year and of course on New Year’s and Christmas. Be sure to research and select a day in the slowest months. My advice? Go for September or October.
Select a Reasonable Resort
I suggest going for any resort that provides you with a reasonable offer. People sometimes opt for rooms according to views – which I believe might be an extra expense since you will probably spend less time in your room when you are at THE Disney World. However, if you still want something fancy, you can select a room that is close to the parks. This will allow you to enjoy the nightly fireworks from your windows and you might have a reduced transportation fare due to the less distance as well!
Consider Different Ticket Deals
A trip to Disney World might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. So, make sure you get good deals on those tickets by exploring credible online information platforms. You can get a single-day pass or a multiple-day pass; depends on your choice. I recommend going for the multiple-day pass since it has all the good discounts and deals. Park Hopper is another great option you can try if you want to explore more in lesser time. The Park Hoppers will allow you to visit multiple destinations in Disney World on a single day along with quick meal breaks in your hotel.
Find the Characters
You don’t want to return without clicking a memorable polaroid with your favorite Disney character or missing the opportunity to dress like them. However, time is limited and you might not have the energy to explore every single corner. You can check the park’s time guide or ask a cast member where you can find the particular character. You can also use the ‘My Disney Experience’ application and search for the times and locations of the characters around the park. Similar is the case for makeover boutiques. You should make sure to check the timings and locations online to help you have the best experience without wasting any extra time or energy.

Make the Most Out of Your Visit
Now that you know when to go, where to stay, and who to meet, it’s time for you to get to the most exciting part – experiencing Disney Magic! Here are a few of the countless things you can do at Disney World to make your vacation one to remember.
- Have a meal with Cinderella in her palace at Cinderella’s Royal Table. You can grab a bite with other Disney characters as well if you want.
- Take a thrilling ride on the Magic Kingdom’s best rollercoaster ride ‘Space Mountain’.
- Take the Pirates of the Caribbean cruise and witness the awe-inspiring animatronic creations of the film scenes and characters.
- Visit the Typhoon Lagoon Water Park with your family and enjoy the crystal waves and water slides.
- Head to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and get a magical makeover.
- Don’t forget to experience the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade where several different floats and costumed characters march with loud music and dance to entertain you.
