runDisney has announced a series of three races that make up the first-ever Springtime Surprise Weekend, which will take place from March 31 – April 3, 2022.
The races are themed to the Disney World Parks:
Expedition Everest 5K
Takes place on April 1, 2022
The race includes a nighttime 5K with a scavenger hunt conducted during the 5K.
Race for the Taste 10K
Takes place on April 2, 2022
The race celebrates Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at EPCOT.
The Tower of Terror 10-Miler
Takes place on April 3, 2022
The race will be run in the morning instead of at night.
Springtime Surprise Challenge
Runners can sign up for all three races at a total of 19.3 total miles and earn a special medal.
Registration
Registration opens for Club runDisney Gold & Platinum members on December 7 at 10 AM ET.
General registration opens on December 9.
Disney will also hold virtual races the same weekend. That registration begins December 14.
