The journey continues for the Disney Treasure!
Getting a ship ready to launch is a complicated process that involves completing many milestones. This week, the Disney Treasure successfully completed an important milestone when it entered open water for the first time as it was taken down the Ems River in Europe by a tugboat from the Meyer Werft shipyard.
Sailing by waving spectators and other four-legged residents of the area, it was a sight to behold!

Next up is a series of rigorous tests, also known as sea trials. Those should take place in the upcoming days. Captain Marco, the Disney Treasure’s captain, will oversee those trials as he steps onboard and continues to prepare the ship for its upcoming transatlantic journey.
