When the Disney Wish embarks on its maiden voyage on July 14, 2022, guests will find it to be filled from bow to stern with excited guests of all ages who will get to experience the magic of a Disney vacation at sea.
Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship will hold unique experiences with Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar adventures. Everything about the Disney Wish reflects the forward-thinking innovation and visionary storytelling for which Walt Disney himself was best known for.
The Disney Wish will boast three beautiful dining locations, featuring a loving tribute to the heritage and history of The Walt Disney Company.
Let’s look a little closer at two of the unique dining options onboard the Disney Wish.
1923
Named for the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, 1923 draws its inspiration from Disney’s animation history, combining classic Hollywood glamour with a dash of Disney whimsy. The decor of this elegant restaurant contains more than 1,000 drawings, props, and other tools of the trade spotlighting 16 Disney films. These stories hold a place in the rich history of The Walt Disney Company. Some of the showcased films include: “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” (1937), “Fantasia” (1940), “Cinderella” (1950), “The Little Mermaid” (1989), “Beauty and the Beast” (1991), and “The Lion King” (1994), along with other animated tales we know and love today.
The menu of 1923 pays tribute to the company’s California roots and will reflect a unique blend of Asian, European, and South American cuisines. Of course, a plentiful selection of famous Napa Valley wines will be available as well.
Marceline Market
At this stylish walk-up food hall, guests will enjoy casual dining throughout the day. Ten food stalls within Marceline Market are themed toward Disney’s animated classics like “Alice in Wonderland” (1951) and “Zootopia” (2016). With tastes to please everyone in the family, Marceline Market will serve up American classics, international specialties, comfort foods, seafood, soups and salads, as well as vegetarian and plant-based fare, baked goods, and desserts.
