The LEGO Group and Disney have released magical mayhem with the Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters Cottage set!
LEGO has drawn its inspiration for the cottage from the 1993 blockbuster hit. The bewitching story has come back to life once more in brick form, revealing all the magical events that happened in the Sanderson home. The original Hocus Pocus film premiered 30 years ago, and last saw the much-anticipated sequel Hocus Pocus 2, expanding the story of these iconic characters. Fans are now able to build and display their own piece of Hocus Pocus history.
The Sanderson Cottage was the design idea of Belgian LEGO fan and Hocus Pocus fan, Amber Veyt. The design was submitted to the LEGO Ideas platform. The original design attracted 10,000 votes and was then chosen to be made into a real LEGO set. The cottage set contains 2,316 pieces and includes a fully detailed interior complete with favorite props inspired by the film in LEGO form. Six minifigures include the iconic three Sanderson Sisters, Max, Danni, Allison, and Thackery Binx as the black cat.
The cottage set cleverly transforms into the Sanderson Witch Museum as seen in the films by simply adding the inf0-stand, museum signage, some rope barriers, and a cash register. Witch Museum pieces can easily hide away in secret storage under the stairs.
The LEGO Ideas Disney Hocus Pocus: Sanderson Cottage set is available for LEGO VIPs from July 1st Here and LEGO Stores for all from July 4, 2023 priced at $229.99.
