Disney has announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort this summer!
Nobody does Audio-Animatronics like Disney and Tiana in her colorful new adventure attire, along with both familiar and new friends, will fill up the bayou with their unique personalities.
Joining the adventure along with Tiana will be a swampful of new neighbors with friendly critters. In addition to being musically talented, these new friends are also resourceful, building their own instruments from materials they found in the bayou.
We previously shared how Disney has collaborated with industry legends PJ Morton and Terence Blanchard on new music for the ride. Sounds of New Orleans music will be joined by some of the tunes from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film, “The Princess and the Frog.”
Guests will be excited to once again plunge down a 50-foot drop into the cool waters below. The harrowing drop will be a welcome escape from the summer heat and as you reach the bottom you will discover an all-new story to love!
The story surrounding the ride is all about Tiana and how she made her dreams come true, inspiring everyone to make their own dreams become reality. In Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, beloved Tiana is throwing a festive party during Mardi Gras season to express her gratitude to family, friends, and the community for all the support they’ve given her as a successful business owner. And we get to celebrate with her!
You’re invited to “come join the party” when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida this summer, and at Disneyland Park in California later in 2024.
