Imagineers are beyond excited that guests will soon have the opportunity to be digitized and become a part of the grid and ride lightcycles for Team Blue. Thanks to the hard work of hundreds of Imagineers, the day is almost here. TRON Lightcycle / Run opens to the public on April 4, 2023.
This new attraction is a spectacular addition to the Tomorrowland skyline with its massive, awe-inspiring “curved wave” canopy made up of more than 1,200 lights, 3,800 steel beams, and a ride track that is more the 3,000 feet long. And none of this could have happened without the talented Imagineers – plus thousands of others – who have been a part of the process.
We’re not sure who will be grinning the most when the ride opens – Imagineers or Guests – but we can guarantee it’ll be a fantastic day for both.
