Walt Disney World Resort Reopens to Guests Following Hurricane Milton, Limited Park Reservations Available

Following Hurricane Milton barreling through Central Florida, Walt Disney World reopened to guests on Friday, October 11. However, limited park reservations are available, and the Magic Kingdom is fully booked.

Guests with theme park tickets can make reservations to visit EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but park passes to Magic Kingdom are fully booked for all guests.

In addition, on October 11, park reservations are no longer available for Annual Passholders to any of the four parks.

Walt Disney World operating hours for Friday, October 11 are:

  • Magic Kingdom: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with early entry at 7:30 a.m.
  • EPCOT: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with early entry at 8:30 a.m.
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 9 p.m. to 9 p.m., with early entry at 8:30 a.m.
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with early entry at 7:30 a.m. Extended Evening Hours will run from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Walt Disney World began closing in phases on Wednesday, October 9, and remained closed through Thursday, October 10 as Hurricane Milton made landfall on Wednesday, October 9.

Resorts operated as normal through the hurricane, but Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, the Copper Creek Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa closed at 11 am on Wednesday and remain closed for the time being.

Glad that theme parks have reopened so soon after Hurricane Milton?
