Walt Disney World Resumes All-Day Park Hopping – What You Need to Know

Following a three-year hiatus that started with the pandemic, Walt Disney World has reinstated the all-day park hopping option for guests holding valid Park Hopper ticket options. Visitors can now enjoy the flexibility of moving between parks at any time during the day.

When the Walt Disney World theme parks reopened in the summer of 2020 after the unprecedented closures due to the initial COVID-19 outbreak, park hopping was temporarily unavailable. It wasn’t until January 2021 that the option to visit more than one park each day was reintroduced, with the caveat that guests had to wait until 2 p.m. to enter a second park.

Effective January 9, 2024, guests holding date-based tickets no longer need to make park pass reservations. This eliminates the need for pre-selecting the park to start their day. Furthermore, Annual Passholders and Cast Members will have the freedom to enter the parks without a reservation on select Good to Go Days starting January 11.

In addition to these changes, the park-to-park bus service for park-hopping guests now starts at 10 a.m., providing an earlier option for those eager to explore multiple parks in a single day.
