Parking Trams Returning to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The return of tram services to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios appears to be imminent as parking tram drivers were recently spotted in training. Parking tram services are expected to return to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios this month.

Over the past several days, tram driver training has taken place in different parking lots outside of EPCOT. Training has also recently been happening outside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Disney Parks announced the much-anticipated complete return of parking trams in late August. This is welcome news for guests who will soon find themselves having a shorter distance to walk upon arriving at the parks.

The return of parking trams is just another change in the ongoing overhaul of the parking structure at EPCOT. All of the lots were renamed in January of 2023. Fresh sod was placed around the new EPCOT ride-share loop in late August, indicating that the project is close to completion. The parking lot renovations coincide with a years-long park reimagining that’s seen EPCOT add Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and the upcoming Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.
