Support For Bob Iger Grows In Proxy Fight: Disney CEO Bob Iger remains locked in proxy battles with Trian’s Nelson Pelts and Blackwells Capital. Recently voicing his support for Disney is George Lucas, the creator of “Star Wars” and founder of Lucasfilm.

2024 Class of Disney Legends Announced: During the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony on August 11, 2024, in a panel hosted by Ryan Seacrest, several new Disney Legends will be inducted. These new Disney Legends have been named and will be honored at the D23 Ultimate Fan Event this summer. The event will take place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA.

Disney Releases Name For Newest DCL Ship: Disney Cruise Line has released the first details of the next ship in the fleet!

EPCOT’s CommuniCore Announces Opening Date: CommuniCore Hall is opening and will be the home to EPCOT festivals and other celebrations throughout the year.
EPCOT Set To Receive An All New Encanto Show: For a limited time a new show, “Celebracion Encanto!”, a summer sing-along featuring the beloved songs and story of “Encanto” will take place at EPCOT numerous times throughout the day. Everybody will be talking about Bruno starting June 10 through September 6. Not only will you be invited to sing along with some of your favorite songs, but you will also be able to spot Mirabel and Bruno on the newly opened CommuniCore Plaza stage.
Timon and Rafiki Meeting Guests Again: After a long hiatus from Rafiki’s Planet Watch, you can once again meet Timon and his pal Rafiki at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this summer as Disney’s Animal Kingdom celebrates the 30th anniversary of the classic animated movie, “The Lion King.”
