Disney Parks Chairman Says Disneyland Ready To Reopen When California Allows

Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, recently appeared on “The Dow Report,” a show presented by the US Travel Association.

During the interview, D’Amaro said that Disneyland is ready to reopen as soon as the company gets guidelines and a date from the state of California.

He said that reopening Disneyland will reenergize businesses around the park, just as the reopening of Walt Disney World in Florida has impacts local businesses in the Orlando area.

D’Amaro also said that new technology, such as increased reliance on mobile food ordering, park reservations, and contactless payment, not only help the company implement health and safety procedures, but also help provide a better guest experience.
