Disney Parks To Celebrate Disney+ Day on September 8 With Early Park Admission, Characters, More

Make it Blue!

Disney Parks is celebrating Disney+ Day on September 8! Guests who are subscribers to Disney+ and hold theme park tickets and reservations to either Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort will be in for a pleasant surprise when on Disney+ Day, they will be invited to enter the theme parks a full 30 minutes before the regular opening hours.

If you happen to be a guest staying at hotels of the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World on September 8, you will be granted admission a full 60 minutes before regular park opening hours at any of the theme parks at Disneyland or Walt Disney World.

In addition, Disney+ subscribers can enjoy complimentary Disney PhotoPass photo downloads at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the Disneyland theme parks on September 8. Special PhotoPass Lenses will be in use that day to capture the memories of this fun-filled day.

Special in-park Disney+ Day fun includes:

  • Disney+ character sightings and cavalcades and more surprises at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.
  • Special Disney+ screening at Movie Under the Stars for guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
  • Character meet-and-greets, commemorative chalk art, and a special photo op featuring Mater and Lightning McQueen at Disney’s California Adventure Park.
  • Blue-dusted churros only available at Disneyland Resort this Disney+ Day and blue cocktails at select Downtown Disney District restaurants.
  • Special movie screening at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for guests staying at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort.
  • Early entry for Disney+ subscribers at Disneyland Park at Disneyland Paris and more special offers.
