Disney Springs’ Jaleo Welcomes 2024 with Chef Jose’s Irresistible Roscón De Reyes – Kings Cake

Jaleo at Disney Springs is gearing up to mark Three Kings Day on January 6th by offering slices of Chef Jose’s renowned Roscón De Reyes cake. This Spanish holiday, also known as Dia de Reyes, commemorates the Three Wise Men’s gift-giving to baby Jesus and is celebrated with fervor, often surpassing the festivities of Christmas in Spain. Children receive presents and indulge in the sweet delicacy to honor the occasion.

Chef Jose is infusing the Disney Springs celebration with joy through his Roscón De Reyes, featuring flavors of orange blossom, caramelized cherries, oranges, melon, and almonds. The cake, available with or without whipped cream, incorporates a concealed “Rey” (king) figurine, bringing an element of surprise – whoever discovers the King is believed to receive good luck throughout the year.
