Disneyland Tickets And Reservations Now Available For April 30 Reopening

The Disneyland Resort and Disney’s California Adventure will reopen on April 30, 2021, and tickets and reservations are now available.

Here are some exciting details!

Enhanced Health And Safety

Just as happened when Walt Disney World reopened, Disneyland will implement new protocols:

  • Enhanced Cleaning and Housekeeping Modifications: Disney will use enhanced cleaning procedures throughout the Disneyland Resort.
  • Operational Changes for Physical Distancing: Disney will promote physical distancing.
  • Reduced Contact: Disney will reduce contact, promoting cashless transactions and online hotel check-in
  • Face Coverings: All Guests (ages 2 and up), Cast Members, and Operating Participant employees must wear face coverings.
  • Temperature Screenings:  Disney will conduct temperature screenings for entry to some locations.

Park Reservations

Guests will need both an admission ticket and a theme park reservation to enter Disneyland or Disney California Adventure. In order to get a reservation, you need to buy an admission ticket first.  Disney will have a limited number of reservations, and only California residents may visit the parks, and in groups no larger than 3 households.

Disneyland currently plans to operate the following attractions:

  • Snow White’s Enchanted Wish –  newly reimagined
  • Mad Tea Party
  • King Arthur Carrousel
  • Peter Pan’s Flight
  • Haunted Mansion
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Mark Twain Riverboat
  • “it’s a small world”
  • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
  • Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
  • Space Mountain
  • Indiana Jones Adventure

Disney’s California Adventure plans to operate the following attractions:

  • The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure
  • Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind
  • Toy Story Midway Mania!
  • Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree
  • Soarin’ Around the World
  • Incredicoaster
  • Radiator Springs Racers
  • Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!

Entertainment

The Disneyland Resort will not offer parades, stage shows, or nighttime spectaculars upon reopening.

Characters

The parks will offer socially distant character sightings.

Disneyland

  • Main Street, U.S.A. – Mickey Mouse and pals on the steps of the Disneyland Railroad station.
  • Royal Theatre in Fantasyland – Cinderella, Rapunzel, Snow White, Mulan, Elena of Avalor, and many others will wave and pose photos.
  • Small World Terrace – Alice and her friends will appear.
  • New Orleans Square – Tiana and Redd the pirate will interact with guests from afar on the balcony of the 21 Royal Residence, above Pirates of the Caribbean.
  • Mickey’s Toontown – Mickey Mouse his friends will appear in Toontown.
  • Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland – Miguel from Coco will wave to everyone.
  • Star WarsGalaxy’s Edge – Rey, Chewbacca, Vi Moradi, First Order Stormtroopers, and Kylo Ren will be out and about.

Disney California

  • Carthay Fountain/Buena Vista Street – Mickey Mouse and friends will wave hello.
  • Super Heroes – Black Widow, Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and the Dora Milaje will be out.
  • Cars Land – Mater, Lightning McQueen, and Red the fire truck will be on Route 66.
  • Pixar Pals – Woody, Jessie, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, Edna Mode, Frozone, and Joy and Sadness will pose and pose from the Pixar Pier bandshell stage.
  • Disney Junior – Vampirina and Doc McStuffins will be on the stage of the Disney Theater in Hollywood Land.
  • Paradise Gardens Park – Officer Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will be on patrol.
