The Tournament of Disney Sidekicks has been pared down to the “Second Banana 16,” as the top seeds join the fray after their first-round byes. To vote, click here or use the embedded ballot below.
Last week’s action in the Small(ish) and Large(ish) brackets tracked the seeding-committee’s decisions, with all four higher seeds prevailing after 551 votes were cast. Smallish #3 seed Jiminy Cricket was a popular choice over Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck-It-Ralph, garnering 66% of the vote, and moving on for an epic showdown against Olaf. They’ll join The Incredibles’ Edna Mode, who will face Tinker Bell next after eliminating Hei Hei.
In the Largeish bracket, Mater drove circles around Linguini, recording the highest tally of the round with over 77% of the tally. Demigod Maui was also a Largeish winner, defeating a brave effort from Dug from Up, 56%-44%.
The 16 remaining sidekicks face off this week, looking for berths in the Overlooked 8, and YOUR votes will make the difference. Ballots are open until August 14 in the following battles:
Renaissance:
