Look at the Load Station for the New Guardians of the Galaxy Attraction: Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley released a photo on his Instagram account of the first photo of the load station inside Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Let’s take a look at the posted Guardians load area photo.

An All-New Beacons of Magic Show Debuts for Flower and Garden: The new show will feature the song “Colors of the Wind” from the 1995 Disney film “Pocahontas.” Riddley explained that this will be the first time that Disney has colored Spaceship Earth using earth tones. The International Flower & Garden Festival debuted a new Beacons of Magic show on Spaceship Earth starting March 2, 2022.

Disney Cruise Line

Face Coverings Optional on DCL: Starting on March 11, 2022, Disney Cruise Line will make face coverings optional in most indoor locations.  This is based on the most recent guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Raglan Road Brings Back St. Patrick’s Day Festival: Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant will once again be home to the Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival. The annual festival will take place from March 11-March 17, 2022. Disney calls the Irish celebration a “can’t-miss experience” with music, dancing, themed drinks, and traditional Irish fare.

Voting For D23’s March Hare Mania Resumes: The annual March Hare Mania bracket will return for 2022 with an all-new theme: Disney Parks’ original characters. The D23 bracket will follow up Figment’s 2021 victory by featuring other characters from the Parks as this year’s competition. The voting opens on March 7 and will be live until April 1st. Each reader can vote once per day.

Disney+ Will Soon Offer a Discounted Option That Comes With Ads: Disney Plus has announced that it will begin to offer a new ad-supported subscription plan in the US in late 2022, and will roll that less expensive version out internationally in 2023. Disney has not yet announced pricing, but the current US version of the service without ads costs $7.99 per month.
