Christmas at Walt Disney World

Candlelight Processional Returns for the Holiday Season: The Candlelight Processional is a long-standing tradition that began in 1955 in Disneyland and was introduced to Disney World in 1971. Last year, 2020, was the first year it did not occur in either park, and we’re thrilled to have the Candlelight Processional back again this year for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

EPCOT Features 14 Kitchen at 2021’s International Festival of the Holidays: One of the most beloved traditions of an EPCOT Festival is traveling around the “World” to sample the foods and drinks that make that area of the world unique. In just 1.2 miles, you can visit all four corners of the world at EPCOT and never have to pay for airfare! This year’s International Festival of the Holidays is no different, offering 14 Holiday kitchens for travelers to stop by and sample delicious food bites and refreshing drinks.

Living with the Land Adds Christmas Overlay: Disney World’s EPCOT park started a new holiday tradition in 2019 by decorating its Living with the Land ride for the holidays with sparkling Christmas lights, props, and even an updated soundtrack. By adding this holiday overlay, the ride becomes truly festive during the month of December.

Olaf is 2021’s EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays Mascot: For each EPCOT festival at Disney World, there’s always plenty of merchandise to be found and purchased to help you keep your memories alive once you’re back at home. This year’s Festival of the Holidays is no different, with wintery merchandise featuring everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf.
