Four Major Ways Disney World Will Be Different In 2024

As we bid farewell to 2023 and look ahead to the upcoming year, 2024 holds significant promises for Walt Disney World. Several beloved experiences are making a comeback, accompanied by new attractions. Let’s explore the anticipated transformations at Disney World in 2024.

1 – Disney Dining Plan’s Comeback

After a nearly four-year hiatus, the Disney Dining Plan is making a return for trips starting January 9, 2024. The plan allows guests to pre-pay for their meals at Disney World, providing credits for table-service and quick-service dining. In 2024, the Disney Dining Plan is priced at $94.28 for adults and $26.69 for children, offering flexibility in dining across Walt Disney World Resort.

2 – Exciting Rides and Attractions

Building on the success of 2023’s new attractions, 2024 brings Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to Magic Kingdom, a log flume ride continuing the story of Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will see updates to Star Tours and the replacement of Voyage of The Little Mermaid with The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure in fall 2024. EPCOT’s transformation, set to conclude in 2024, includes the intriguing Communicore Hall, and Plaza in the newly opened World Celebration.

3 – All-Day Park Hopping Returns

Starting January 9, 2024, the all-day park hopping feature returns, allowing guests to visit multiple parks in a single day without waiting until 2 pm.

4 – Park Reservation Changes

One of the most significant changes is the removal of the Park Pass reservation requirement for date-based tickets starting January 9, 2024. This adjustment streamlines the park entry process, though it doesn’t apply to Annual Passes or non-date-based tickets.

Be sure to stay tuned for new announcements and updates. Happy New Year!
