The Characters Of 1900 Park Fare At Disney’s Grand Floridan Resort

On April 10, 2024, the character buffet 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort reopened after an extensive refurbishment that replaced the story, characters, furnishings, and art.

On April 25 I had a chance to visit the restaurant, courtesy of the nice folks at Disney Media Relations, and had an amazing experience.

Here, let’s look at the characters that are part of the experience.

Disney Characters

1900 Park Fair is a character dining experience, which means that you get to spend some time talking to and interacting with the characters.  Compared to the parks, where you will almost always wait in a long time to meet a character, at this and other character dining experiences, the characters come to you.  You can ask questions and take photos.

The theme and story of 1900 Park Fair is making wishes come true.  Four characters, each with special wishes, will visit you.

Instead of having the characters individually provide autographs, a Disney Cast Member will give you a card that already includes the autographs of all the characters who will stop by your table. On the other side of the card you can record your own wish.

Summary

Disney character dining experiences are always a lot of fun.  In this case, all of the characters are ‘face characters’ or humans that can talk and interact.  Each character was full of energy, true to their personality and story, and fully committed to sharing their story with you.  Kudos to these amazing and dedicated Cast Members!  It’s Disney Cast Members like these characters that make experiences like 1900 Park Fare so extra special.
